Beware of unsolicited insurance communications

As we all seek to deal in the best way possible with the ongoing Covid-19 restricted environment we find ourselves in, many unscrupulous business practices have sprung up across a number of industries some of which are affecting both businesses and individuals alike. Criminals are sensing an opportunity to take advantage during this unprecedented period of change.

The insurance industry is also not immune from fraudsters and we are seeing a rise in the number of bogus insurance businesses and within that, “ghost” insurance brokers being formed. These businesses do not have clients’ interests at the heart of all they do. Interestingly in none of the cases that have been uncovered has the “ghost” insurance broker purported to be a Chartered organisation, possibly because of the easy check that can be done around this status and of course the rigorous rules for entry to obtain this accolade.

A&T Insurance Group – Chartered Insurance Brokers

Achieving Chartered Status involves significant investment and evidencing of quality of customer service. It is the Gold Standard in our industry and I am delighted to be able to confirm to you that A&T Insurance Group has been awarded this prestigious title for the 13th year in a row.

Sian Fisher, Chief Executive of the Chartered Insurance Institute, said:

By achieving Chartered status this business has publicly committed to a customer-first approach. We commend the business for showing commitment to the Chartered ethos.”

Never has there been a better time to deal with a Chartered Insurance Broker and given the level of crime and fraudulent activity we are seeing, we thought it would be good to update you around the benefits that go with this industry Gold Standard and your valued relationship with us.

What our Chartered status means for you
