A&T apprentice bowled over with her bronze medal
Local ten pin bowling star and Alan & Thomas Insurance Group employee Autum Chamberlain from Poole is celebrating having recently won a bronze medal when she represented England in the Ten Pin Bowling World Championships.
The eighteen year old apprentice at Alan & Thomas, along with her team mates, achieved third place in the Ladies Trios event in Las Vegas and adds this bronze medal to over seventy other national, UK, European and World individual, doubles and team medals she has won since she started bowling at the age of five.
"The competition was extremely tough and to come third is a real achievement, which I'm very proud of. Being in Las Vegas and the sheer excitement of taking part in the World Championships is an experience I'll remember for a long time" said Autum.
She is now preparing for a trip to Siberia this month where she'll be the only female representing England in the 49th annual bowling World Cup.
