Strictly Dance Fever
It was strictly dance fever in Bournemouth last week when seven local business professionals, including one from an A&T, took to the floor in the Wessex Cancer Trust annual Business Come Dancing event.
Now in its third year, the event pairs dancing novices with professional dance partners and gives them just three weeks to train before performing live in front of a panel of judges and an audience of over 150 people.
Claims Handler at A&T, Steve Goslin, along with his dance partner Julia Sulimenko performed an energetic salsa, which saw him come second on the leader board – an agonising one point behind the eventual winner, Darren Northeast of Darren Northeast PR. Although pleased to have come second, Steve took further consolation in being the only contestant to receive a score of 10 from the judges!
The event, which took place at the Piccadilly Hotel in Bournemouth, raised over £4500 for the Wessex Cancer Trust.
