Our History
Alan & Thomas Insurance Brokers were originally founded in 1975 and has offices in Poole, Blandford, Gillingham and Frome. Over the years we have become one of the leading insurance brokers in the country and pride ourselves as the only independent in Dorset with national presence.
In 2007 we were delighted to have been awarded Chartered Status by the Chartered Insurance Institute, the industry's gold standard for insurance brokers, which has only been awarded to fewer than 100 firms across the country.
These select firms must meet a demanding code of ethical practice, placing clients' interests at the heart of all their advice, while developing and maintaining the knowledge and capability of their people so they can deliver the highest quality advice - something Alan & Thomas are proud to be a part of.
We currently work with a range of companies across major industries such as Manufacturing, Construction and Wholesale. We also work closely with a range of companies in niche areas, including Churches, Hairdressers & Beauty Salons and Bentley, and Rolls Royce owners.
