Alan & Thomas are leading insurance specialists in Southern England providing insurance solutions and risk management services for businesses, organisations, charities and high net worth individuals.

Originally founded in 1975, we have now firmly established ourselves as a Top 100 independent insurance broker in the UK¹ and take pride in being the only independent broker in Dorset with national presence.

In 2007 we were delighted to be awarded Chartered Insurer Broker Status by the Chartered Insurance Institute - the industry's gold standard for insurance brokers. These select firms must meet a demanding code of ethical practice, placing clients' interests at the heart of all their advice, while developing and maintaining the knowledge and capability of their people so they can deliver the highest quality advice - something Alan & Thomas are proud to be a part of.

With headquarters in Poole, Dorset and two further offices in Gillingham and Frome, we now employ sixty staff members – many of whom are specialists in their field, meaning you will receive advice and guidance from an expert who knows your industry. All staff adhere to a strict set of values, chosen by them, to ensure clients are treated with the highest levels of customer service, respect and efficiency.
